Energetic Bob Ekat will be live on stage at WORD UP Volume 2

BOB EKAT

Bob Ekat is the author of “Tears from an Old Man’s Eyes”, and the winner of the Sentinel Centre Performance Poetry Prize. He is a co-initiator of the Pen Society, a literary organization which searches and refines new voices.  In 2012, Bob’s book was one of the ten titles chosen by the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) for the Yusuf Alli Literary Campaign. 

Bob has performed at notable poetry platforms, some of which are Word Slam, Poetry Potter, Soul Storm, the US Consulate’s Read out loud, and even the Black Heritage Festival.  He was contracted to write and perform a poem for Coca Cola at its 125^th global anniversary.

Bob is a poet who writes as the muse leads, exploring themes of love, adventure, revolution and even the metaphysical.  He simply is a poet.

He will be live on stage at WORD UP Volume 2.
