SAGE...you are my Hero..

And everyday I dream..

To be like my Master "Sage"...

My Master "Says"..

"Son, work hard...Dream free...

And remember to bring the energy".

I say....."Dad" ..

All I need you have already given me..

Coz...

If today will be my last on this stage..

Then I will give my best..

But I dream to be blind..

Not to C sin... but to B Seen..

To C...to B in XtaC..like the C...

To truly love is to B..

"Truly Free"

You are Free..Free of speech..

I am Bound..Bound to speak..

Speak change through words...

I only dream to be heard..

Be led by great minds.

Mine too small to be compared..

I only dream of my Hero...

 was in town during

WORD UP Volume 1 

(the biggest Spoken Word Poetry Event in Nigeria).

He was the last act of the day and made us understand why he is a master of the art.

He oozed so much class and style, 

and 

flowed with ease and skill.

Spoken Word Artists who will rock the MIC and blow minds at WORD UP AUGUST 2012

Sage Hasson

is Nigeria's premier poet! He became a popular performer in 2006 when he got an uproarious applause at the 1st Hip Hop Awards. He has done about 300 shows since then and done near a 100 brand poems for major Nigerian corporations from MTN to Zain to Unilver, Guinness, NBC, ThisDay Festival, and a host of others! He's recorded over 30 poems in 2 cds. He's currently working on a new album and a book of psycho-cosmic philosophy!

Torpedo Mascaw aka NUMBER ONE

is a spoken word artist who is an IT consultant by the day and a poet by night.

He is a regular performer at FreedomHall Nigeria and FreedomHall Ghana (an open mic event for music, poetry, spoken word and comedy). He has also featured in many other open mic poetry shows across the country.
