Word Up Volume 5 DVDs and Audio CDs are out.

The DVDs and Audio CDs of the first anniversary edition of WORD UP are out.

The event was tagged Word Up Volume 5, and it held on August 17, 2013 

at TerraKulture Hall, Victoria Island, Lagos.

It featured some of the best, young Spoken Word Poets in Nigeria. 

The DVDs and Audio CDs will be available at the venue of the seminar on "The Business of Spoken Word Poetry in Nigeria."  The date is September 14, 2013, and venue is Bogobiri House, 

Maitama Sule Street, off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The time is from 2pm

during WORD UP Volume 5.

War Of Words is a Slam Poetry Competition 

open to all Spoken Word Poets that have never performed on the WORD UP stage before.

The aim of the event is to provide a platform for new, upcoming and unknown Spoken Word Poets.

It also seeks to showcase the poetic talents that abound in Nigeria 

and to also help in their growth and development.

The video submission for the next edition of the event tagged War Of Words Season 2 comes up in September 2013.
